WEBER COUNTY, Utah, May 10, 2025 (Gephardt daily) — Emergency responders from the Weber Fire District,along with personnel from the Hill Air Force Base Fire Department, and deputies from the weber County Sheriff’s Office, rushed to a residential fire incident in western Weber county on Friday evening.
The alarm was raised around 7:40 p.m.
A statement released by Weber County fire indicated that upon their arrival, firefighters were met with significant smoke and rapidly worsening conditions.
“Firefighters instantly commenced search operations and initiated fire suppression measures,” the report detailed.
the blaze was confined to one room and its belongings, according to officials.
“Numerous pets were successfully rescued during this operation, and all residents managed to evacuate safely.Two individuals along with one deputy received treatment for smoke inhalation at the scene but were later released,” they added.
the investigation into the cause of the fire has been handed over to the Weber Fire District’s Fire Marshal’s Office for further examination.
