Tom Holland has provided an update to his followers following a concussion he sustained while working on teh set of “spider-Man: Brand New Day.”
On Saturday, Holland took to Instagram to share details about a recent gala event for The Brothers Trust, a charitable association founded by the Marvel star’s parents. In his post, he expressed that he is “recovering well and feeling better” after his injury.
“What an unbelievable night! Another fantastic success,” Holland shared. “The Brothers Trust means more to me than I can express, and I owe a huge thank you to my Mum and her amazing friends for organizing yet another unforgettable evening. We’re raising funds for critically important causes while having fun! I apologize for leaving early, but I’m on the mend. A big shoutout to my Dad for stepping in after I left; the show got significantly funnier!”

According to a report from Variety on September 22, filming of “Brand New Day” was temporarily halted due to Holland’s injury. However, production is anticipated to resume by September 29 without affecting the film’s release date set for July 31, 2026.
Sony celebrated the start of filming on August 10 with an exclusive behind-the-scenes video, showcasing Holland in Glasgow as he donned the iconic Spider-Man suit while performing an impressive stunt involving a tank.
“It’s crazy putting on the suit; it feels different this time around,” Holland remarked in the video. “This is also our first day with fans present on set, which makes it really exciting to share this experience with them.We have some familiar faces here too. I’m just going to do my best and hope everything goes smoothly—no pressure!”
