Shout! Studios has successfully acquired Gravitas Ventures from Anthem sports & entertainment. The financial specifics of this transaction have not been made public.
By acquiring gravitas Ventures, Shout! Studios will gain access to an extensive library comprising over 3,300 titles, including scripted and unscripted films and also sports-related documentaries and television series. Both companies plan to operate under their distinct brands while managing the distribution of content from their respective catalogs.

Shout! Studios is supported by Oaktree Capital Management and boasts a diverse collection that features iconic shows like “The Carol Burnett Show” and “Mystery Science theater 3000,” along with films from GKIDS and Studio Ghibli.

The latest releases from gravitas Ventures include notable titles such as “mack & Rita,” featuring Diane Keaton; “The King’s Daughter,” starring Pierce Brosnan alongside Kaya Scodelario; and “Our Friend,” which showcases performances by Casey Affleck, Dakota Johnson, and Jason Segel.
Salem Partners served as financial advisors for Anthem Sports & Entertainment during this deal,led by Ivar Combrinck. Sheppard Mullin provided legal counsel for Anthem Sports & Entertainment under Shaun Clark’s direction along with aerin Snow’s support. Meanwhile, Greenberg Traurig acted as legal advisors for Shout! studios with Ben Einbinder and Daniel Unlit leading their efforts.
