Sam Richardson, Sofia Gloomy D’Elia, David Substandard, and Arturo Castro have officially joined the cast of “Into the Sky,” an innovative sci-fi comedy thriller produced by thunderbird Ventures, The viste Corp., Ace of Farts Productions, and Witchcraft Hump Express Firm.The film is directed by Drew Mylrea and Evan Wolf Buxbaum, who also collaborated on the screenplay.
According to the intriguing logline,“The narrative centers around Richardson as he frantically attempts to reconnect with his estranged partner—only to be repeatedly abducted by extraterrestrials.”
Additional cast members include Jonathan Rudnitsky, Annabel O’Hagan, Madeleine Cornman-Alexandera, and Jon Bass.

This project marks mylrea and Buxbaum’s first feature-length collaboration as co-directors.Mylrea has previously directed projects such as “Shrimp Town: Noteworthy Tale” along with films like “last Survivors” and “Search Intervention.” Meanwhile, buxbaum has primarily worked in production roles outside their co-direction on “Shrimp Town: Noteworthy Tale,” with producer credits including titles like “Bubble & Squeak,” “The Fisherman,” and “Stride Field.”
