Celebrating National Pet Day: Ridgeview Bank’s Community Engagement
On April 11th, Ridgeview Bank marked National Pet Day with enthusiasm at its branches in Salem, Roanoke, and Westlake.The event invited community members to bring thier beloved pets for a delightful photo opportunity while enjoying treats and special giveaways.
A Joyful Gathering for Pet Lovers
“We’ve had numerous visitors stop by to join the fun,” shared Lesley Carter, the Branch Manager at Ridgeview’s Westlake location. “It’s truly an enjoyable occasion.” The atmosphere was filled with excitement as pet owners celebrated their furry companions.
Community Participation: A personal Touch
Casey Johnson visited the event accompanied by her two Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Nova and Nebula. As a REALTOR with RE/MAX Lakefront Realty and an avid photographer, Johnson frequently takes her dogs out in public, much to the delight of both her pets and local residents.

The bank provided a picturesque backdrop for attendees to capture memorable moments with their pets. Additionally, Ridgeview Bank featured giveaways sourced from Barkley’s pet Market in Hardy. These included collapsible water bowls, premium treats, waste pickup bags, hand sanitizers, and stylish pet bandanas.

The Westlake branch of Ridgeview Bank opened its doors in early 2023 and has been dedicated to engaging with the local community since day one. Last month at the Smith Mountain Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce Awards dinner, they were honored with the ”Outstanding Customer Service” award—a testament to their commitment to excellence in service.
