MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Golf lovers and animal advocates are invited to participate in the eighth Annual Putts Fore Pets Golf Tournament, which supports the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter (MAPS). this exciting event is scheduled for Friday, June 13, 2025, at the Marshfield Country Club located at 11426 Wren Rd.
This popular fundraising event merges amiable competition with a noble cause—providing care and facilitating adoptions for stray animals in the Marshfield community. The registration fee is $380 per team of four participants.This includes access to 18 holes of golf with a cart, lunch, raffle opportunities, and chances to win fantastic prizes. The day kicks off with check-in at 9:00 AM followed by a shotgun start at 10:00 AM—regardless of weather conditions.
A standout feature of this year’s tournament is the Hole-in-one Challenge that boasts an extraordinary $10,000 grand prize sponsored by Forward Insurance (1001 N Central Ave, Marshfield). This thrilling opportunity adds an extra layer of excitement to what promises to be an eagerly awaited event.

The funds generated from this tournament will directly benefit MAPS—a shelter that relies solely on local support. Situated at 3500 Downwind drive, MAPS cares for around 750 animals each year. Without state or federal funding assistance, they depend on donations and fundraising events like this one to cover approximately 80% of their annual operating budget totaling $350,000.
The money raised will help MAPS reunite lost pets with their owners while also providing care and forever homes for abandoned animals in the area.
