Born on april 29, 2025, Emu is described by her foster parent as a sweet-natured cat.She has a loud purr that she uses to get your attention whenever she desires it. While she may not always want to be held, Emu ensures she’s close by and enjoys snuggling after a long day. She is spayed, has tested negative for felv/FIV, is microchipped, and is current on her vaccinations.
Marshmallow shares the same birthday as Emu but boasts a playful personality filled with energy. He loves exploring his surroundings but also cherishes moments of affection where he might leap onto your lap for some cuddles. Like Emu, he has been neutered, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and brought up to date with his vaccines.

The next pair we’d like you to meet includes Autumn (Bottom Left) and Lyric(Bottom Right), both residents of the Cortland County SPCA. autumn is approximately four to five years old; she arrived at the shelter as a stray along with three kittens that were weaning. Generally calm in demeanor, Autumn can appear reserved at times.Her unique vocalizations may sound grumpy but are simply her way of communicating affection while enjoying gentle petting.
Lyrical in nature—just like his name suggests—Lyric is just over six years old. This affectionate feline loves nothing more than showing love through meows as he approaches peopel seeking companionship. He’s sociable not only with humans but also gets along well with other cats; he came into the shelter alongside his two sisters.
