ESCANABA, Mich. (WLUC) – Pets attended a odd Sunday carrier in Escanaba.

The Unitarian Universalist Bay de Noc Fellowship blessed animals on Sunday. Provider Chief Bruce Hansen says the carrier mixed odd cultural views about pets.

He invited a Sault Tribe member to piece the Native American point of view about other folks’s relationship with animals. The fellowship also invited refuge canines so that they’ll also most definitely be blessed and adopted.

“Animals can educate us so noteworthy,” Hansen acknowledged. “They educate us about worship, they educate us about forgiveness, they educate us about living within the modern and being thankful for what they’ve.”

Hansen says all offerings will be donated to the Delta Animal Safe haven. He says the bond between a dog and companion is solid.
