Netflix is embracing humor with its upcoming film, “Jay Kelly.”
The streaming giant plans to submit Noah Baumbach’s latest cinematic endeavor, “Jay Kelly,” for consideration in the comedy categories at the Golden Globe Awards, as reported exclusively by diversity.
Additionally, the studio will promote George Clooney, who plays the lead role of Jay Kelly, for recognition in the Best Actor (Comedy or Musical) category. This positions Baumbach’s reflective yet comedic film amidst a competitive awards season that features both esteemed comedies and major musical productions.
Other cast members such as Adam Sandler, Billy Crudup, and Laura Dern are also eligible for nominations in supporting acting categories.
Insights from Diversity
