The initiative offers vital ‍preventive care such as vaccinations and heartworm testing at no cost, thanks to the generosity of ⁢volunteers ‌and community donations.

“A typical veterinary visit for preventive care and⁣ overall health assessments can range from $250 to $350,” Dr. ‌Knep explained. “This program significantly alleviates that financial burden for pet owners in ⁣need.”

A Lifeline for Pet Owners

The Minneapolis branch of this organization assists approximately 500 ‍dogs annually, making a ample impact on both pets and their owners.

“Without their⁣ help, I honestly don’t know what we would do with‌ our pets,” shared Dureen Burnette, a grateful dog owner.“We‍ are low-income families,⁣ and they truly look out for us.”
