HOUSTON – Teh organization Houston Pets Alive is launching its most significant fundraising campaign to date, thanks to a generous board member who has pledged to match every contribution up to $100,000 until the end of the year.
The bigger picture:
This non-profit was established in 2014.
Their goal is to rescue dogs and cats from shelters that have medical issues or are at risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding.
The matching initiative means that the organization can save twice as many animals during this critical period.
