Heroic Rescue in Hopkinsville: Firefighters Save Pets from ​Blaze

Hopkinsville, Kentucky (WZTV) — The Hopkinsville Fire ⁤Rescue​ team responded to‌ an emergency call regarding a fire at the intersection of West Riverwood and Marietta Pressure shortly before 9 PM on friday evening.

A ‍Rapid response to Flames

Upon approaching the scene, firefighters noticed flames visible from a distance and promptly requested additional support. When they arrived, they found a garage engulfed in ⁢flames.

Tackling the‌ Inferno

The firefighting crew employed multiple strategies to combat ⁢the blaze​ effectively. A total of three fire ​trucks and twelve firefighters worked diligently on-site. Within just 35 minutes, they managed to bring the fire under control.

A Tragic ​Loss Amidst success

Fortunately,no human injuries were reported; however,five kittens tragically lost their lives ‍due to the fire’s intensity. On a brighter note, firefighters successfully rescued two animals—a rabbit and⁢ one kitten—during‍ their operation.
