RON, thank you for joining us! Congratulations on reaching this notable milestone with STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION! looking back over the last ten years, how has your musical style transformed as your debut track “Daisy”?
Throughout this decade, I have composed numerous songs not only for my own projects but also as a producer for other artists. My experiences have refined my ability to translate musical ideas from my mind into tangible creations. I feel that my creative range has substantially broadened during this time.
The Balance Between Anime Collaborations and Personal Vision
Your new album ‘STEREO DIVE 03’ features both anime tie-in tracks and original pieces. How do you manage to balance these demands while staying true to your artistic vision?
I approach each project by aligning it closely with the anime’s essence.from my diverse repertoire,I select musical elements that best fit each series. For sections beyond what is featured in the anime itself, I often adopt a more personal approach.
A Glimpse Into Future Aspirations through Music
The opening track ‘#03’ expresses your anticipation for what lies ahead. Can you elaborate on its significance within your artistic journey?
To commemorate our tenth anniversary, I wanted to add a unique element by revisiting an introductory phrase from “Daisy” at the end of this album. This was meant to honor our beginnings while simultaneously expressing gratitude for future possibilities.
Cultural Experiences Shaping Musical connections
Your diverse experiences over these years must have influenced both your style and audience engagement—how is this reflected in ‘STEREO DIVE 03’?
Lately, I’ve had more chances to perform internationally. The song “HIKARI,” included in this album, was specifically crafted as an anthem for audiences to sing along with me during live performances—a truly unifying experience!
Navigating Genres: Crafting Emotionally Resonant Music
Your compositions span various genres including rock, EDM, and orchestral music—how do you determine which genre best conveys a song’s emotional tone when tied to an anime series?
I typically write music based on specific requests or themes presented in scripts or storyboards available at that time; they guide me toward selecting appropriate styles and instrumentation suited for each scene.
Personal Favorites Among Your Works
selecting just one is challenging; though I’d say “STORYSEEKER” holds special significance due not only its melody but also its overall composition process—I invested considerable effort into it using custom samples created by myself!
