Fortiche, the renowned animation studio behind Netflix’s blockbuster series “Arcane,” has unveiled notable leadership changes as it embarks on a new chapter of creativity and prepares to launch an expanding array of projects.
In the wake of the international acclaim garnered by its “League of Legends”-inspired series “Arcane,” developed in collaboration with Riot games, Fortiche is broadening its creative horizons and diversifying its production offerings. To facilitate this growth, the studio has revamped its leadership team with three pivotal appointments.

Cécile Hergaux Essame has been appointed as head of productions.With nearly a quarter-century of experience in animation under her belt she will oversee operations across Fortiche’s studios located in Paris Montpellier and Las Palmas. According to the company her role will be crucial in managing the studio’s transition towards handling multiple projects concurrently.
A Shift Towards Diversity
christine Ponzevera who produced “Arcane” Season Two along with shorts like “Blood Sweat and Tears” and “Welcome to Noxus” now takes on the role of head of content and executive producer.Over the past year she has directed all film and television projects created alongside Riot Games reinforcing their flagship partnership’s continuity and strength.
Marion Delord joins Fortiche as a producer focused on delegated production efforts and forging new collaborations. With fifteen years’ experience in production and distribution she will help create original content including the anticipated feature film “Penelope of Sparta“ while also leading new strategic partnerships.
Renowned for its distinctive visual style coupled with innovative storytelling techniques Fortich remains closely connected to Riot Games while exploring fresh creative avenues. These recent appointments mark a significant advancement in supporting the studio’s evolving vision along with its global aspirations.
