Join Us for the Healthy Pets Tournament in Harrisonburg
Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 11, 2025! The Healthy Pets Tournament is set to take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hillandale Park, located at 801 Hillandale Avenue in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Anicira Veterinary Heart is excited to announce the upcoming Healthy Pets Tournament. This complimentary community event aims to enhance access to essential pet care services for local families.
What You can Expect:
- No-cost vaccinations and flea/tick treatments for dogs and cats (including Rabies,DAPPv,and Combo vaccines).
- A variety of pet care resources along with free pet supplies (donations from the community are greatly appreciated).
Who Is Welcome?
- The tournament is open to all families—there are no residency requirements or limits on the number of pets you can bring.
- This event is exclusively for domestic pets (neighborhood or feral cats will not be accepted).
- If possible, please bring previous vaccination records for your pets.
- Cats should be transported in carriers (some carriers will be available on-site).
- Please ensure dogs are leashed with non-retractable leashes; accommodations will be made for anxious or reactive dogs if needed.
- Services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis—no prior reservations necesary.
Free Pet Food Distribution:
Before the tournament kicks off, Anicira will also host its regular Pet Food Pantry that morning. Free pet food distribution will occur from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Anicira’s pet Food Pantry located at 910 N. Liberty Avenue.
