Free Pet Care Event for Those in Need in Portland
PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — The Oregon Humane Society is collaborating with Blanchet House to host a complimentary pet care clinic on Tuesday aimed at assisting homeless pet owners or those facing financial difficulties in caring for their animals.
Event Details and Location
this initiative will take place in the parking area of the Lan Su Chinese Garden, conveniently located near Blanchet house on Northwest Glisan Street.
Services Offered to pet Owners
Attendees will have access to essential services for their pets at no cost. This includes vaccinations, flea and tick treatments, as well as supplies such as pet food, leashes, collars, and more.
A Monthly Commitment to Animal Welfare
A veterinarian will be present each month alongside Blanchet House to provide ongoing support and care for pets belonging to those who are struggling financially.

The free clinic is scheduled for Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., offering a vital resource for community members in need.
