This holiday season, the Sewell Foundation invites you to partake in a heartwarming event that combines joy with philanthropy. On December 12, 2025, the Sewell Mill Neighborhood and Match Centre in Bremen, Georgia will be transformed into a festive haven for animal lovers during the Tails of Joy Vacation Gala. This special evening is dedicated to enhancing the lives of shelter animals and ensuring they find their forever homes.
An Enchanting Evening Awaits
Set to run from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM, this semi-formal gala promises an enchanting experience filled with delicious food, delightful company, live music from the ETC Band, and a silent auction featuring unique items. However,beyond the entertainment lies a deeper purpose: raising essential funds that directly support local shelter animals.
Making a Difference for Shelter Animals
The funds raised during this event will be allocated to a nonprofit organization committed to improving conditions for animals awaiting adoption. These contributions will enhance shelter facilities, bolster community spay and neuter programs, and fund a transport van designed to safely relocate dogs to shelters where they are more likely to be adopted. Currently housing around 600 animals on average each month while taking in approximately 110 new arrivals—adoption opportunities are crucial as many northern shelters actively seek pets needing homes. With capacity for transporting up to 40 dogs per trip on multiple annual journeys planned,these efforts can significantly increase adoption rates.

The gala offers various sponsorship levels tailored for different levels of involvement—from $500 “Bark Buddy” sponsorships up to $10,000 “Top Canine” partnerships. Each tier includes reserved seating at the event along with recognition throughout the evening and also promotional benefits such as named benches or food pantry plaques at local shelters.
