STILL GOING STRONG DESPITE STAFF SHORTAGES
Good morning, everyone! It’s that wonderful time of day when we gather with the team from the Washington County Animal Shelter to learn about some amazing pets looking for homes.let’s talk about this lovely dog here.
This is Belle, a 5-year-old hound mix who has been at our shelter for approximately four weeks. She has a gentle demeanor and can be a bit shy initially, but once she warms up to you, her affectionate nature shines through.
Adoption Process Made Easy
If someone is interested in adopting Belle or any other pet,what steps should they take? They can fill out an submission online or visit the shelter directly to complete it in person. After that, we’ll arrange a meet-and-greet session were potential adopters can interact with the animals in a comfortable setting.

The meet-and-greets typically occur indoors within our adoption area. While some may take place outside depending on circumstances, we prefer to keep it cozy and personal inside our facility.
Upcoming Events: Adoption Day Extravaganza
We have an exciting event coming up! This weekend—October 11th and 12th—Ideal Mates will host a Large Adoption Day from 10 AM to 3 PM at Crystal Bridges in Bentonville. We will be bringing several dogs along, including Belle!
