Having to steer a funeral Mass factual after, Father Jim Cunningham and Father Invoice Sweeney of SFDS met with parishioners and their pets at the Prayer Garden on Sea walk 129th and Rockaway Sea walk Blvd. for a brief ceremony to label the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. They led prayers, handed out St. Francis of Assisi medallions to all people and Father Invoice doused pets in holy water as he blessed them. A statue of St. Francis of Assisi modified into as soon as even dropped at the prayer backyard for the occasion.

The entire lot from dogs of all sizes to a cat in a carrying case, a bunny, a guinea pig and some geckos, and even some stuffed animals, were amongst other folks who got blessings on Saturday.
