GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas – A local family in Grand Prairie is mourning the tragic loss of their pet goats, which were shot and killed on their property, while their dog was left severely injured.
The dog survived the ordeal but the family is determined to find out who committed this heinous act against their beloved animals.
The Tragic Incident in Grand Prairie
Details of the Case:
The Greens are heartbroken after discovering that four of their goats were brutally killed right outside their home.
Their loyal dog, Allie, is currently recovering from her injuries sustained while trying to protect her friends.
According to Terri and David Green, an intruder entered their property on Tuesday afternoon and shot the goats at close range without them hearing a thing. A neighbor’s security camera later captured audio just before 2:30 p.m., near a nearby school.

The Greens treated these goats as cherished members of their family; they had been raised with love since they were kids by the couple’s grandchildren who bottle-fed them from infancy.
“You grow attached to them; they’re not just animals running around in a field. They’ve been part of our lives since birth,” Terri expressed emotionally.
The couple believes that someone deliberately walked onto their land and executed each goat one by one while leaving Allie beaten and bleeding behind.< / p >

“She’s extremely traumatized; she has wounds all over her body—her legs, abdomen, back head ears—and requires daily medical attention along with medication for anxiety,” Terri explained.
This incident goes beyond just losing pets for this family; it raises concerns about safety in a community where such cruelty can occur.
“It’s terrifying knowing there are peopel capable of such brutality,” David remarked.
“Who could do something so heartless? It makes us very anxious about our safety when there are individuals willing to harm innocent animals without cause,” Terri added.
