Anime NYC 2025 has swiftly come and gone, leaving us with a whirlwind of memories! It’s hard to believe how quickly this convention flew by.Over the course of four days,we immersed ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of Anime NYC 2025,experiencing both highs and lows. in this post-convention report, we’re excited to share our insights along with some useful tips for future attendees. Let’s take a moment to revisit the highlights of Anime NYC 2025!
This year saw a meaningful increase in ticket prices; though, Anime NYC 2025 offered an expanded experience compared to previous years, featuring more events and notable guests. while some may find the costs challenging to manage, they were somewhat expected given the scale of this year’s offerings.

Improvements at Anime NYC 2025 Compared to Previous Years
This year’s event was notably richer in content than its predecessor in 2024. Attendees could explore an extensive array of booths ranging from popular VTubers like hololive to dedicated gaming areas hosting tournaments for titles such as tekken 8, Street Fighter VI, and Super Smash Bros! Renowned YouTubers like ironmouse and CDAWG VA made appearances (though time constraints prevented us from meeting them), adding another layer of excitement!
The presence of numerous voice actors available for meet-and-greets, interviews, and fan Q&A sessions contributed significantly to making Anime NYC one of its most diverse iterations yet. Nonetheless of your interests within anime culture—be it gaming or traditional fandom—there was something for everyone at Anime NYC 2025!
Areas Where Anime NYC Could Improve Further
Unluckily, not everything went smoothly during Anime NYC 2025; overcrowding emerged as a significant issue. Having attended numerous conventions both large and small—including giants like Anime Expo—we found that while this event is medium-sized by comparison,it felt overwhelmed due to either unlimited attendance or misjudged expectations regarding crowd size.
The long lines made it challenging even for us to catch certain panels or access food vendors efficiently. We sincerely hope that future editions will either utilize more space within the venue or implement stricter ticket sales limits so that attendees can enjoy their experience without excessive wait times.
An additional concern was the limited presence of major gaming companies on-site. Despite our efforts exploring every corner—excitedly discovering games like Honor of Kings featuring Detective Conan collaborations alongside Kaiju No.8—we were hoping for larger showcases perhaps from Capcom or SEGA themselves! While we understand that anime remains central here; many attendees are also avid gamers who would appreciate more gaming-related content.

No surprise here: cosplay was abundant throughout the convention! We always make an effort not just focus on familiar faces but also seek out unique creations among participants’ outfits too! Our gallery features some standout cosplayers who graciously allowed us permission before capturing their images—thank you all immensely!
