Berlin-based Image Tree International has secured global distribution rights for two important German films: “Hot Girl Summer” (Mädchen Mädchen) and “Almost Brothers” (Ganzer Halber Bruder). these titles are set to debut at the german Film Previews in hannover in early July, following their world premieres at the Munich Film Festival.
The theatrical release of “Hot Girl Summer,” distributed by Constantin Filmverleih, is scheduled for July 3, coinciding with both the Munich festival and the German film Previews. Meanwhile, “Almost Brothers” will hit theaters through Wild Bunch Germany on September 18.

Additionally premiering as a German exclusive at the Munich festival is PTI’s historical drama titled “Frieda’s Case,” directed by Oscar-nominated Maria Brendle. Prior to its festival showing, PTI finalized a distribution agreement for Germany and Austria with Arsenal Filmverleih. Other notable sales include deals in Spain (Alfa Photos), Latin America (Encripta), and Central Europe (HBO Europe), with ongoing negotiations for a theatrical release in China.
