Smithland Pet and Garden Center Closes 13 New England Locations: What This Means for Local Pet Lovers

Smithland Pet & Garden Center ‌has announced the closure of ‌all its retail outlets, wich includes six‍ locations⁤ in Massachusetts and ‍seven in Connecticut.

Previously known as myAgway and‍ Dave’s soda and Pet City,Smithland will ⁤be shutting down all 13 of its stores. This‍ company has been ‍a staple in the community for four decades.

The Massachusetts branches are⁤ located in Agawam, Hadley, Ludlow, Northampton, Ware, and Westfield. in⁤ Connecticut, customers can find stores in Bethel, Manchester, middlefield,‍ North⁢ Branford, North Haven, Old Saybrook, ⁢and Southington.

A‍ Legacy​ of Service

“Born from a passion for pets and gardening,” ‌stated smithland⁤ Pet & Garden ‍Center in an official declaration. “We have‌ become a cherished spot for families over generations—offering expert advice alongside high-quality ​products and kind service.” The store has proudly served local communities since 1985 with offerings ranging from pet food to garden supplies.

upcoming Sales Events

Starting Tuesday, all Smithland locations will initiate closing sales featuring‍ meaningful discounts on pet supplies as ‍well as gardening products. Customers should note that purchases made on or after May 6 ​will ⁤not be eligible for returns; however returns can be processed for items bought before this date with proof ⁣of purchase.
